The Activist Resource Library is back with a new home!

by | May 27, 2026 | Our Updates

In February 2026, FES concluded its first year of the Activist Resource Library (ARL) which was delivered for one year in partnership with The Climate Justice Organizing HUB. Located in Montreal (Tiohtià:ke) at Milton Parc Citizens’ Committee (MPCC), this centralized and secure resource hub provided grassroots groups and activists with access to a physical library of free advocacy materials that they could borrow on a first-come, first-served basis. Members of ARL were able to borrow equipment to amplify their mobilization efforts, and they also had access to a broader network of services, resources, and community. This project was created with the support of the Foundation of Greater Montreal.

The first year was highly successful, hosting over 40 members throughout the year and lending resources to groups organizing in youth-led arts and activism, community and care actions, climate and environmental justice, solidarity movements, mutual aid, civic engagement, and more! With the inaugural year behind us, we’re excited to announce the next chapter of the project, as it moves to a new home at Apathy is Boring (AisB)!

AisB is a dedicated charitable organization, well-connected to the broader activism community, that uses art, technology, and grassroots campaigning to educate and engage youth in democracy. We are excited to bring the ARL back with AisB, as their strong foundation in civic engagement and community organizing aligns closely with the ARL’s mission – to better support francophone and anglophone youth mobilize and advocate for a more sustainable future.

Now located at the AisB Office in Montreal’s Plateau neighbourhood, the ARL will give its members the opportunity to access a new community, connect with AisB and their work, and borrow additional programmatic materials.

If you’re interested in becoming an ARL member, which gives you access to a library of free resources (such as megaphones, projectors, speakers, and more), please complete our intake form and the AisB team will get back to you shortly!
