It has been an exciting time collaborating with the projects from our first cycle and following their progress in each of their youth-led missions to tackle the climate crisis. We are excited to be working with so many new ambitious young people as we move into our second cycle of funding.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The number of remarkable applications made this a difficult choice for allocation of our funding.\u00a0 It is clear simply from the overwhelming number of applicants that there is a high demand for youth-led climate action to be recognized, funded, and supported.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The following applicants were selected as the most favourable based on a multitude of criteria and were thus selected for the second cycle of granting from the Youth Harbour.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0A list of the successful applicants in alphabetical order can be found below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Atelier de v\u00e9lo Communautaire de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Chicoutimi<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Banking on a Better Future<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>BIPOC2COP<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Many Green Hands<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Mino Bimaadiziwin Collective\u2019s Leaders of Tomorrow Initiative<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Pitch It Green<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Project Sculptshore<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Reimagine Agriculture<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Youth Harbour is looking forward to working with each of these teams as we make progress toward the completion of each of their objectives and missions. As part of our commitment to contributing to building a more sustainable, just, and prosperous future for generations to come, we will continue to share resources with all of the youth organizations that submitted applications. We would like to recognize the time, energy, and commitment of all of those who applied.<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Organizations that were not successful in being selected for funding in this cycle were offered a $50 compensation for their efforts, as we maintain the belief that young people deserve to be paid for their work.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The Youth Harbour is a project of the<span>\u00a0<\/span><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theyouthharbour.org\/fr\/blogs\/news\/fesplanet.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Foundation for Environmental Stewardship (Fondation pour la gestion de l&#039;environnement)\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Foundation for Environmental<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>Stewardship<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>that offers support to youths who are taking action against the climate crisis.
